deThe year is almost over, but I’d really like to quickly announce our latest products before its Christmas and 2017. We have released two more themes and one plugin the past weeks.
New Themes and simplified Price Model
It was a bit quiet the last weeks here, but the main reason for that is simply our lack of more communication. Behind the scenes we are still working hard on ThemeZee and new products.
With Gambit and WorldStar we now have two more themes in our growing collection of Magazine WordPress Themes. I really hope you like them. Apart from that we have also adjusted our price model a little bit, to make it easier and more understandable. You find more information about that on the end of this post.
New Plugins: Social Sharing and Mega Menu
Beside our new themes we also launched our Social Sharing and Mega Menu plugin the last few weeks. As always both plugins have a strong focus on usability and user-friendly settings. You get access to all our premium plugins as a purchaser of a single Pro Version add-on or one of our Bundles.
New Themes: Maxwell and Admiral
The last few weeks we released two new WordPress Themes for you. The first one is named Maxwell and comes with a minimalistic and ultra clean layout with lots of white space. The second one called Admiral features a unique and responsive two sidebar layout and is great if you have many widgets.
Meet Beetle and Gridbox
We are currently spending a lot of time in creating new designs for our growing collection of free Magazine WordPress themes. Say Hello to Beetle and Gridbox, the two newest themes in the ThemeZee family.
New Theme Logo feature in WordPress 4.5
WordPress 4.5 “Coleman” was released yesterday and includes a bunch of new awesome features, including live responsive previews and inline linking.
One relevant feature for our themes is the new Theme Logo feature, which adds custom logos in WordPress core.
Tortuga Magazine Theme released
We are very excited to present you our latest Magazine WordPress Theme Tortuga. Tortuga is a highly flexible and adventurous WordPress theme for your online magazine or any other news related website.
The theme supports three different post layouts, two sidebar schemes and a Magazine Homepage template based on widgets. Other highlights of Tortuga are the beautiful post slider and header widgets area. We hope you build awesome sites with Tortuga. Arrr!
Poseidon WordPress Theme released
We have finally released our first WordPress Magazine Theme in 2016. It is named Poseidon and can be downloaded and used for free.
A lot of you were looking forward to see a new theme from us, especially since we were busy with creating plugins and translating our website to German in the last quarter of 2015. In 2016, we plan to release at least 12 themes and truly hope we can meet all your expectations, starting with our beautiful Poseidon Theme.
ThemeZee Related Posts plugin
Just before another year has passed we are happy to release our next amazing add-on. Our new Related Posts plugin makes it easy to add relevant content to the bottom of your posts.
Related Posts are great to increase your website traffic and to reduce bounce rates by keeping your reader’s reading. They are a must-have feature for any magazine or news website.
Breadcrumbs add-on released
Our brand new Breadcrumbs add-on allows you to display a nice and elegant breadcrumb navigation.
The Breadrumbs plugin will automatically detect your permalink setup and show a breadcrumb trail based off that structure. It will work with all of our themes without any configuration.
New Currency Switcher
We have changed all our product prices on themezee.com from USD to EUR. This change was made to simplify things on our end. We are located in Europe and therefore have to keep books in our currency. It was getting increasingly complicated with PayPal payments in USD, because every single transaction had to be converted and recorded in Euro.
New Widget Bundle add-on released
We are thrilled to announce the release of our second add-on. The Widget Bundle plugin is a small collection of widgets for your sidebar. They are a neat addition for the default WordPress widgets and work great in combination with all of our themes.
ThemeZee Toolkit – our first add-on
Earlier this week we have released our first add-on called ThemeZee Toolkit. The plugin is a collection of useful small modules and features, neatly bundled into a single plugin.
Right now the Toolkit includes three modules to insert header & footer scripts, set conditions to show and hide widgets and to add a gorgeous gallery carousel. More features will come with the next updates. If you have a cool feature in mind just let us know.
Meet our new Add-on Plugins
As of today we will not just offer you our free Magazine themes and corresponding Pro Version plugins, but also our new Add-ons.
Add-ons are standalone plugins, which can be used in combination with all of our themes. They will add theme-independent features and functionality, which are better suited for a plugin rather than the theme. Our new add-on plugins will be specifically designed for ThemeZee WordPress themes but will also work with any other theme.
ThemeZee is now also available in German
When ThemeZee was founded in 2010 the WordPress theme market was much smaller than today and only in its beginnings. It was a fast decision to create our website completely in English to attract a larger audience.
Since then 5 years have passed and WordPress has enlarged its market share rapidly. We think it was time for us to be finally present with a German website in our home country.
