The Statutes have undergone several thorough revisions during FIFA's history, giving FIFA a modern and comprehensive legal framework for its increasingly important work. That said, FIFA needs to bring forward the true inter-continental cup, consisting of two groups of four, the seven fedarations plus the defending world champions.
