Flipagrams are short photo-video stories, paired with music you love.
When you register an account on Flipagram, you're joining a community of storytellers who can follow you, like your Flipagrams, and reflip your posts. You can find and follow your friends, or get inspired by influencers and top creators who use Flipagram. Plus, creating a Flipagram account lets you save all of your Flipagrams, even if you change phones or use multiple devices. And, you'll be able to access additional features that are exclusive to account-holders, like editing your most recent Flipagram.
Besides easily creating short videos from your favorite images and music, you can explore top Flipagram videos; discover interesting people from around the world; get followers, likes and comments; and share your posts out to most other social networks and messaging services. You'll see the world through the eyes of people like you and people completely different from you.
Please don't use Flipagram to post nudity, graphic violence, or spam. The Flipagram community does not allow harassment, threats, or bullying. And, we ask that you keep yourself safe by not posting sensitive personally identifying information like personal phone numbers or home addresses. For the safety of all Flipagrammers, we'll remove these things if we see them!
If you prefer to hide your posts except from followers, just turn your account to Private under “Edit Profile.” Swipe down to the bottom of the Edit Profile menu and toggle “Make Profile Private” to ON. You'll have a chance to remove any unwanted followers when you go private, and new followers will have to ask your permission to follow you.
"Report" is how you tell us that something on the Flipagram network should be removed because it contains nudity, violence, spam, bullying/harassment, or another serious problem. We will review reports and remove content that violates our Terms of Service.
You'll need version 5.0 or above of Flipagram--currently available on iOS and coming soon to Android. When you launch Flipagram after upgrading, videos will appear in “Add Moments.” Selecting a video launches our easy clip editor, where you can tap the video moments you want to include. Watch this Flipagram for an easy tutorial!
There is no absolute maximum number of photos, just a maximum of 30 per second of finished video! Flipagram can encode up to 30FPS (frames per second) meaning that for a 15-second Flipagram you can use up to 450 photos, and for 30 seconds you could use 900 photos. Keep in mind that the more photos you use, the bigger the file size of your finished Flipagram. When using lots of photos, close all other apps running on your device, and make sure you are on a strong Wi-Fi with plenty of space available on your device.
We support most audio file types but you will not be permitted to include any Digital Rights Management protected files to your video. Musical content that was not an original creation by you is protectable under copyright laws. It is against the law to copy music without purchasing or obtaining the rights to that music. Make sure you have the permission to use that musical content in any video slideshows you create with Flipagram.
You also won't be able to use music that's stored in the cloud. Please download music files directly to your device for use with Flipagram.
You can create Flipagrams using photos and videos in your device's library or from other social networking services. On all devices, Flipagram can pull in photos from your phone's camera roll, Facebook, and Instagram. Flipagram 5.0 (iOS) also allows you to use videos stored on your device. Certain Android devices may allow other applications as photo sources.
By using a Flipagram account, you can post Flipagram videos directly to your Flipagram profile. You can also share out from Flipagram to many other networks and services.
Android devices: Flipagram will work with most any application that accepts files or links.
iOS devices: Flipagram works with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Line, Pinterest, Vine, WhatsApp, YouTube, Tumblr, email, and text messaging.
Flipagram is storytelling for everyone! Just create a Flipagram account by tapping "register" and choosing to register with email instead of with Facebook.
If you are logged into a Flipagram account, you will be able to edit your most recently completed Flipagram. Just click to view the Flipagram and choose the "edit" option at the upper right of the screen. If you're logged out or haven't registered an account yet, you won't be able to use this feature.
Check "Hidden Flipagrams." For your privacy, when you first create an account, all of your past Flipagrams are hidden until you choose to make them public. You can find your hidden Flipagrams by visiting your profile and choosing "View Hidden Flipagrams."
Tap the magnifying glass to visit Explore and see Featured and Trending Flipagrams about Animals, Sports, Dance & Music, Food, and more! There are 13 global Explore Channels, and sometimes we'll add a special one for a holiday or other occasion, too.
Create great Flipagrams and use relevant hashtags to help people find your stories! We'll feature the best few Flipagrams in each category every day. Make sure to follow and interact with people, too, so that your Flipagrams can get likes and rank in the Trending tab.
No! If you've purchased the watermark-free option before, it's yours for life. Just go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases." (If for some reason this doesn't work, please contact us: [email protected])
Just create or edit a Flipagram, then tap the watermark from the Edit view on any photo or video moment, and you'll be able to edit or delete the watermark.
This depends on your app settings and device type.
Android: Your Flipagrams are saved only in your Flipagram account by default. However, when you share to certain other services (such as Instagram) your phone will download the video file.
iOS: To automatically save Flipagrams to your camera roll, go to Flipagram Settings and toggle "Auto Save to Camera Roll" to ON. Note that this will only work if you have enough space left on your device to save your Flipagram. If your device is out of space, this setting will cause error messages.
All rights to your video and images remain with you. If you choose to share your Flipagram on our network, you give us permission to display and play the video on the Web and in the Flipagram app. Sharing your Flipagram in a way that creates a Web link also grants us permission to display and play your video. However, you may retract this permission at any time by deleting your Flipagram.
For your privacy, when you first create an account, all of your past Flipagrams are hidden until you choose to make them public. You can find your hidden Flipagrams by visiting your profile and choosing "View Hidden Flipagrams."
Flipagram offers verification for highly sought-after people whose fans and followers need to know that their Flipagram profile is real. Only a very small percentage of Flipagram community members will receive a verified badge. If you have a large following outside Flipagram and feel that your account needs to be verified to help them find you on Flipagram, please fill out this form and we will review your request promptly. Please note that we can only respond to verification requests if you do qualify to receive a verified badge.
Post great Flipagrams and make sure to interact with other people on Flipagram. The best way to make a friend is to be a friend! If you want more likes, comments, and reflips, be a good neighbor by liking, commenting, and reflipping when you watch a Flipagram and love it.

The “Auto-Save to Camera Roll” feature should be turned on by default. If your videos aren't saving, you'll want to check to make sure you aren't running low on storage space. If you don't have much space left, delete some unwanted files to free some up. Also make sure that Flipagram has permission to access your camera roll by going to: Settings > Privacy > Photos > Flipagram and toggling to the on position. To save videos manually, turn off the Auto-Save feature and you'll see a “Save to Camera Roll” option appear in your video options (the “...” icon next to the video).
There are two ways to post Flipagrams on Instagram. Before using either, make sure you have updated both Flipagram and Instagram to the most recent versions.
Share from Flipagram (recommended):
(If you have taken other pictures or videos since you created the Flipagram you're sharing, you will have to choose your Flipagram from your camera roll on Instagram. Instagram opens with your most recent photo or video ready to share.)
If that doesn't work, it may mean that your Flipagram is too long or that there's a problem on Instagram's side. If that's the case, try this:
Share from Camera Roll:
