Denmark offered Europol compromise

The European Commission has offered Denmark partial access to the European police agency's database, government sources said on Tuesday. The deal may keep Denmark inside Europol without signing up to broader EU justice policies - an option rejected in a referendum last December. Prime minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen has invited party leaders to a meeting on Thursday for a briefing on Denmark’s negotiation of a new agreement with Europol.
