Amsterdam has one of the best transport systems in Europe and a busy international airport. As an IBC attendee you get to ride the trams for free, you just need to pick up your tram pass from an Information Point when you arrive. There is a comprehensive tram, bus and metro system, enabling you to get anywhere in the city quickly and easily. There is also a fleet of shuttle buses from the major hotels to take you directly to the RAI. A timetable and map will be provided in due course.
First Floor Restaurant is an elegant à la carte restaurant in Amsterdam RAI. The restaurant is characterised by its international cuisine, an extensive wine list and a tasteful environment. If you want to relax on the lounge seats with friends or colleagues, enjoy a drink, or simply sit and chat, these wishes can all be catered for.

The Roast Room located in the low-rise area of the new RAI Amtrium building is a great addition to Amsterdam RAI complex. The Roast Room consists of The Roast Bar - a brasserie style restaurant on the ground floor, and the Rotisserie - a fine dining restaurant on the first floor. Run by expert chefs working their magic in open kitchens, guests can enjoy the finest cuts of meat, burgers, charcuteries and sausages from the restaurants own butcher’s shop.

The modern and charming Grand Café is an excellent place to meet and start your day with a freshly ground cup of coffee and homemade apple pie. Each year IBC is growing, and demand for space during the Event within the RAI is increasingly high. With this in mind, we are afraid that we are unable to provide the dedicated Business Lounge. However, to ensure that we do provide a similar service, there will have additional seating facilities across the RAI as an alternative solution. Additionally you are able to make bookings in the RAI’s varied restaurant options to hold your business meetings. If you are exhibiting at IBC, we have a range of paid facilities that we can offer you, please contact [email protected] for more details.
All applicants for press accreditation have to verify their media status each year. Only members of the media who are reporting on or from the show to the wider global audience may apply. Reporting internally to an industry organisation is not valid.
Bloggers are not eligible unless they can upload acceptable verification of their status.
Employees (engineers, managers, etc.) of television stations and similar organisations, make up thousands of IBC’s visitors and are not eligible for press accreditation. They should apply for an exhibition visitor pass.
Photographers are not considered press unless they can prove that they are reporting on the show and verify who they are reporting for.
Photographers who have been commissioned to take photographs of exhibitors’ stands are not eligible and should apply to the appropriate exhibitor(s) for a visitor ticket.
No photography or filming is allowed in the Conference or Auditorium at any time
Filming:

RAI Amsterdam is a professional exhibition and convention centre. The Safety and Security department stays in close contact with the relevant government and intelligence services. Recent developments in Europe have compelled us to introduce extra visible and invisible security measures.
Safety and Security will discuss these measures and protocols with exhibition organisers in the run-up to their event. We will intensify security in line with any changes to the situation. Although our aim is to achieve an acceptable balance between security and hospitality, we are not willing to take any risks.
