Nick Cannon is out of the hospital and doing great!
After spending the holidays in the hospital due to unexpected complications from lupus, Nick Cannonwas finally released Thursday. The Saddle River resident took to Instagram to share the good news just before the New Year.
“I broke out that joint!!!!” Nick captioned the video after leaving Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after a two-week stay. “Stuffed some pillows under the covers and ran out like the little rascals!! LOL.”

The 36-year-old is clearly in good spirits despite having to undergo five blood transfusions. “Straight from the hospital bed to the studio,” he said in the video. “Honestly, I feel great… this is no pity party. We’re back at it again. … Five blood transfusions, what? Naw, it ain’t nothing.”
The America’s Got Talent host, who shares 5-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey, released another upbeat video a day before his release. “What’s good? I got so much love for y’all. Thank you so much. I’m still in this hospital but I’m about to get out up here, for real, and I’m letting you know we’re about to take it to a whole new level,” said Nick in the Instagram video.

He added, “I’ve just been sitting here, reflecting, and I can’t sit here dormant no more. I’m about to take it to a whole new level, different stratosphere, different mesosphere. I’m sitting here just getting stronger, just, like, Iron Man strong, Incredible Hulk type strong. And Buddha said it best: ‘Every morning that you wake up, you are born again. And it matters what you do today the most.’ So we’re about to take it out of here. I want you to go on this journey with me because I appreciate all the love. I didn’t know you all loved me like that. So we’re about to just get on an inspirational journey. Turn this test into a testimony.”
On Monday, pal Kevin Hart visited Nick in the hospital writing on Instagram, “So happy to see my brother @nickcannon getting back to himself. Nothing but love for you man…..”
Nick first opened up about his health problems when he was hospitalized back in 2012 for mild kidney failure and later for blood clots in his lungs. The clots found were directly connected to his kidney infection, according to a statement Nick gave to People. Mariah stood by him at the time. He is now looking forward to becoming a dad for the third time with ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell.
These were the most popular bars in New Jersey in 2016.
Do you ever feel like when you walk into a bar in New Jersey it’s packed? Well, social app FourSquare just released data revealing just which bars were the most popular in the Garden State in 2016. So, who topped the list?
Barcade in Jersey City took the No. 1 spot. They are known for its retro arcade and craft beer, making it a go-to for many young professionals. Not surprisingly, that’s not the only Jersey City bar to make the list. Biergarten Zeppelin Hall came in the top three spot, and waterfront joint Surf City was No. 11.

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania is ringing in her 46th birthday by sharing her wisdom with us. The mom-of-two posted an inspiring message on Instagram Wednesday, reflecting on the last year of her life, which has been full of amazing accomplishments — from remodeling her gorgeous home, to saving animals, and opening up her second gym on her own.
“One year can make all the difference. Just about one year ago, I was a shell of myself. I did not know where my life was heading and I couldn’t look in the mirror and love what I saw,” she wrote, “At this moment, I had to make a paramount decision, which road to take. I could take the first road, the easy road, and conform to the comfortable way of living. The road where I would change nothing and just settle. Or I could take the second road, the harder road, and step out of my comfort zone and make a change. I am so glad that when the two roads diverged, I took the more challenging one, because one year later, I am more confident, I love myself more, and I have never felt better.”

She also added some great advice to remember for the new year, “Remember that when life gets challenging, step outside your comfort zone, live the life you have dreamed, and never settle for anything less than you deserve.”
One year has made all the difference, and I look forward to the next with all of you. Here's to turning 46 today! pic.twitter.com/IvLqvKvhdw

Debbie Reynolds and daughter Carrie Fisher in 2007.
Debbie Reynolds, who starred in dozens of classics from Singin’ in the Rain to Charlotte’s Web, passed away Wednesday at 84. The iconic actress suffered a stroke only a day after the death of her daughter, Carrie Fisher. Her son, Todd, told TMZ that her last words were “I want to be with Carrie.”
In response to the loss of two legendary talents, New Jersey celebrities have taken to social media to mourn.
Montclair resident Bobbi Brownhas been left speechless.
“It’s a work in progress so please have some patience and feel free to give us feedback! @beautybymelbellles and I are so excited about the launch of @theprettymamas blog! We have a ton of giveaways coming up so be sure to subscribe and book your makeup/hair appointments! Link in bio”

The talented makeup artist initially decided to launch the website as an effort to make booking makeup applications easier for her clients, but during the building process thought it would be so much fun to write a blog with her girlfriend.
Ashlee says this isn’t your typical mom blog. “We cover almost every topic in addition to mom-related stuff and I think we’re pretty relatable,” she wrote. “We want this blog to be for everyone with the same interests as us. We created it to connect on a more personal level with our clients and fans.”
The ladies say their goal is to make their viewers feel like they are their best friends. “We are very open people, so there are basically no limitations on our blog. We want you to step into our everyday lives, without actually living with us (our households are wild enough),” Melanie writes. “You can find beauty, fashion, fitness, mama life, food, home inspo, and so much more here. You will seriously never want to leave.”

The two moms already have a slew of great content up, from Ashlee’s birth experience (complete with a video showing every moment!), to the story of how Ash and her fiance Pete Malleo met, and some fabulous OOTD photos and hair care advice.
We can’t wait to see all the fun articles the ladies will be posting in the new year.Congrats Ashlee!
