NY Philharmonic players form string quartet

Concertmaster Frank Huang, Principal Associate Concertmaster Sheryl Staples, Principal Viola Cynthia Phelps, and Principal Cello Carter Brey will appear as the New York Philharmonic String Quartet. Their hitherto unannounced debut is scheduled tonight.

Richard Strauss festival names Fassbaender’s successor
