This Direct to Customer Speeding Ticket Limited Guarantee is for the Coverage Period and is only applicable to the All New ESCORT iX and Escort Max 360 units purchased between August 15th through September 30th 2016 directly from Escort via its toll free number at 1-800-757-1308 or at Escort’s e-commerce site at www.EscortRadar.com.
This limited guarantee is also only available for radar and laser detected speeding tickets and is subject to the terms and conditions set forth below.
Terms and Conditions
1.) To request reimbursement , you must provide Escort with all of the following - (a) a signed copy of the July Speeding Ticket Limited Guarantee Request for Reimbursement form which is available by calling Escort’s toll free number at 1-800-757-1308; (b) a copy (not the original) of your speeding ticket or court receipt, which must clearly identify that ticket was received for a radar or laser detected speeding violation (or provide other proof that ticket was for speeding violation detected by radar or laser); and (c) Proof of ticket payment (Either copy of both sides of cancelled check, money order or court receipt). MAIL ALL THESE ITEMS to: Escort Inc. Ticket Reimbursement, 5440 West Chester Road, West Chester, OH 45069. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing.
2.) Reimbursement is only available for speeding violations received by the original purchaser or gift recipient (as evidenced by original receipt) of the All New ESCORT iX and ESCORT Max 360 units purchased from August 15th through September 30th directly from Escort and shall only apply to radar or laser detected speeding violations occurring between July 15, 2016 through July 31, 2017 (the “Coverage Period.”) Requests for Reimbursement must be received within 45 days of the expiration of the Coverage Period.
3.) The limited guarantee expressly excludes speeding tickets issued in conjunction with any one or more of the following traffic violations– reckless driving, racing, driving under license suspension, school or construction zone violations, driving while under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI), driving in connection with the commission of a crime or similar violations under relevant federal, state, or local laws.
4.) This limited guarantee does not provide reimbursement for attorney fees, late fees, increased insurance premiums, fees and penalties, or other ancillary or associated expenses arising in connection with or resulting from any radar or laser detected speeding violations.
5.) This limited guarantee is only valid in the United States, and is expressly NOT valid in the District of Columbia, State of Virginia, any other jurisdiction where radar/laser detection products are prohibited by law.
6.) Driver receiving ticket and applicant and for reimbursement must be 18 years or older and a licensed driver in good standing. This Limited guarantee is subject to a maximum reimbursement of US$250 per ticket and to a maximum of two radar or laser detected speeding violations per qualifying Escort device.
WARNING: PLEASE DRIVE RESPONSIBLY. Speeding is a dangerous activity and could lead to loss of driving privileges, personal property destruction, or personal injury (including death) to the driver or third parties. Escort expressly disclaims any liability for attorney fees, late fees, increased insurance premiums, fees and penalties, personal injury, death or property damage arising in connection with or resulting from any radar or laser detected speeding violations.
