Palestine
is a
Geographical Area, Not a Nationality
Eli
E. Hertz January 21, 2014
The
Arabs invented a special national entity in the 1960s called the
Palestinians,
specifically for political gain. They brand Israelis as invaders and
claim the
geographic area called Palestine belongs exclusively to the Arabs.
Who’s Really Driving “Grassroots” Anti-Israel
Activism in America?
Congressional testimony ties anti-Israel
groups in America to Islamist terrorism and racism
By Max Samarov and Philippe Assouline
“Israelis have to be bombed… it is wrong to maintain the
State of Israel. It is an illegitimate creation” — Taher Herzallah, American
Muslims for Palestine National Campus Coordinator
On April 19th Jonathan Schanzer, a former US Treasury
Department official, testified in Congress regarding the activities of the
anti-Israel boycott movement (BDS) in the United States. In his remarks, he
revealed shocking details about how a number of former leaders of organizations
with close ties to terrorism, “have pivoted to leadership positions within the
American BDS campaign.” In particular, he established clear links between the
terrorist organization Hamas and leaders of American Muslims for Palestine
(AMP) — a politico-religious lobby group which boasts of being “the driving
force behind activism for Palestine” in the US. But Schanzer’s testimony
revealed only the tip of the iceberg. At the core of this story is not only the
shadowy network of religious supremacists behind AMP, but a manipulative
campaign to incite hatred among the future leaders of American society. cont…

The rebirth of the state of Israel has caused great
controversy among the nations as is evidenced by the many resolutions passed by
the United Nations condemning Israel. And we all know there is much controversy
among the media. Who is to blame? One doesn’t know what to believe or what to
do to bring “world peace.” Yet, there are steps that can and must be taken specifically by the Christian community to support and bless Israel. More here.

1. Judea and Samaria (Jewish roots) or West
Bank (Arab roots)?
“Judea” (יהודה) is the origin of the term “Jew”
(יהודי). Its Hebrew spelling combines one of God’s names: Jehova (יהוה)
and one of God’s acronyms: ד'. Judea and Samaria are the cradle of
Jewish history, religion, culture, holidays, ethos, language and
yearnings. The official name of the area was "Judea and Samaria" from
Biblical times until April 1950, when Jordan occupied/annexed the area,
renaming it "West Bank," as distinguished from the east bank of the
Jordan River. Judea and Samaria was the official name used by the
1922-1948 British Mandate of Palestine, as well as by the U.N.

Abbas' advisor on religous and Islamic affairs provides evidence that the PA does not seek peace
Bassam Eid, a prominent Palestinian human rights
activist, has issued an urgent plea for a serious overhaul of UNRWA, the UN
agency tasked with caring for the Palestinian refugees of the 1948 war in which
Arab armies failed to prevent the creation of the State of Israel.
Eid, the Director of the Palestinian Human Rights
Monitoring Group, is currently visiting London, where he addressed a meeting at
the British parliament organized by the Henry Jackson Society, an international
relations think-tank, entitled “Perpetuating Statelessness? UNRWA, Its
Activities and Funding.” In that presentation, Eid, who was raised in the UNRWA
refugee camp in Shu’afat, east of Jerusalem, harshly criticized the agency for
perpetuating the plight of the refugees as well as for its political
relationship with Hamas.
“Sixty-six years after it was created, UNRWA is still
promising Palestinians that they will return to their homeland,” Eid told The
Algemeiner by telephone. “In my opinion, causing five million Palestinian
refugees to suffer more and more under the umbrella of the ‘right of return’ is
a war crime. They are being used as pawns in a war strategy.” Continue.........
Mainstream Western media coverage of Israel is laced with
expressions intentionally crafted to delegitimize the Jewish State. The good
news is that these terms weren’t written in stone 3,300 years ago, but are
post-Israel independence creations. By using this language, we forfeit our
history. Here are 13 phrases we must stop repeating.
#1 – “West Bank:” Claims that “Judea and Samaria” is
simply the “biblical name for the West Bank” stands history on its head. The
Hebrew-origin terms “Judea” and “Samaria” were used through 1950, when invading
[Trans]Jordan renamed them the “West Bank” in order to disassociate these areas
of the Jewish homeland from Jews. The UN’s own 1947 partition resolution
referred not to “West Bank,” but to “the hill country of Samaria and Judea.”
This term is not shorthand for “Judea and Samaria.” Under this formulation,
Jordan is the “East Bank” of the original Palestine Mandate, which was
designated as the homeland for the Jewish People.
#2
– “East” Jerusalem or “traditionally Arab East” Jerusalem: From the
city’s second millennium BCE origins until 1947 CE, there was no such
place as “East” Jerusalem. The 19 years between 1948 and 1967, when
invading Jordan captured part of the city in 1948 and was ousted by
Israel in 1967, was the only time in history (except for a short time
during the Arab expansion between 638 and 1099), when Arabs ruled any
part of Jerusalem. Palestinian Arabs have not ruled an inch of it for
one day in history. In the past three millennia, Jerusalem has
been the capital of three native states – Judah, Judaea, and modern
Israel – and has had a renewed Jewish majority since 19thcentury
Turkish rule. Eastern Jerusalem is a neighborhood of the city that
Israel reunified in 1967. Continue.....
"Sovereignty",
is a periodical addressing the pressing need for a comprehensive,
reasoned and just soluion regarding the Land of Israel. From the
editor's of "Sovereignty",
“There are many people who well
understand the importance of sovereignty, but nevertheless worry about
the
complexities of world reaction, demographics and the State of Israel's
possible
loss of Jewish identity. To them we loudly say: enough of the
paralyzing
anxiety and fear. We must move on from establishing the settlement
enterprise to
establishing sovereignty, standing upright and fearless. From the pages
of this
journal you will be able to become acquainted with the positions of
people in
the field who are politicians, thinkers and others who deal with these
primal
fears courageously and with open eyes as they offer solutions and
inspire a
goal of fortitude in the pursuit of a grand vision.”

No-go Areas
for Jews in Europe
Opinion From Giulio

Surprised that Israelis
entering Jordan are required to deposit religious Jewish items, like
skullcaps
and tefillin, for "security reasons?
It's
happening in many
European
countries as well, where Jews are once again in grave danger and
Judeophobia
has become the common currency of politics.
Jews
in Denmark have just
been warned by Israeli officials not to appear publicly wearing Jewish
religious symbols such as yarmulkes or stars of David in order to avoid
increasing anti-Israel and anti-Semitic altercations. “We advise
Israelis who
come to Denmark and want to go to the synagogue to wait to don their
skull caps
until they enter the building and not to wear them in the street,
irrespective
of whether the areas they are visiting are seen as being safe,” said
Israel’s
ambassador to Denmark, Arthur Avnon. [Continue....]

Retired Army Lt. Gen. William “Jerry” Boykin is warning that Islamic

over the future of the nation.
Boykin, addressing a packed house at a synagogue today in Stoughton,

Muslim Brotherhood,” noting the Muslim Brotherhood has had a presence
in the U.S. since at least 1962.
“The new Egyptian president, Mohamed Morsi, said he joined the Muslim
Brotherhood in 1978 while he was in the United States of America.
People who say that the Muslim Brotherhood is not in America are not
dealing in reality,” Boykin said. Continued........
Simon Deng Former Sudanese Slave: “Calling

absolutely absurd and immoral.”
"I
came here as a friend of the State of Israel and the Jewish people. –I
came to
protest this Durban conference which is based on a set of lies. It is
organized
by nations who are themselves are guilty of the worst kinds of
oppression.
It
will not help the victims of racism. It will only isolate and target
the Jewish
state. It is a tool of the enemies of Israel. The UN has itself become
a tool
against Israel. For over 50 years, 82 percent of the UN General
Assembly
emergency meetings have been about condemning one state - Israel.

General
Assembly Resolution for Limited
Palestinian Statehood Lacks Legal Authority
Eli
E. Hertz
A
host of resolutions passing annually by the General Assembly are not
legally
binding documents by any measure. One needs only to read Article 10 of
the UN
Charter:
“The General
Assembly may discuss any questions or any matters within the
scope of the present Charter or
relating to the powers and functions of any organs provided for in the
present
Charter, and, except as provided in Article 12, may make
recommendations to
the Members of the United Nations or to the Security Council or to both
on any
such questions or matters” [italics by author].

The U.N.'s universal
definition of a refugee:
"Any person who has been forced to abandon his permanent home in his
natural habitat since time immemorial will be considered a refugee".
In
only one instance has this definition been expanded upon, through the
pressure of the Arab League. The broadened definition is as follows:
"Every Arab who left Palestine-the Land of Israel in 1948, who had
lived
there for two years, will
also be considered a refugee he and
his descendants ". Why did the Arab countries bother to expand
this definition? <Read
