Thanks to @FrontendMasters @kentcdodds and @holtbt!
As a self-taught developer, I have large blind spots in my foundational knowledge. Frontend Masters content helps me turn these deficiencies from blind spots to areas of expertise. Not only does this help me overcome my imposter syndrome, but it also makes me a better/faster engineer.
I have gained a better and deep understanding of Javascript. I was able to introduce and lead projects on React at my company. I have conducted numerous lunch-and-learn sessions at my company, on topics like ES6, Webpack, React and SEO. All thanks to Frontend Masters.
With the online and live courses, I have been able to develop and "master" skills such as functional Javascript, HTML5, CSS animations, server side development and working with libraries like Angular, Ember, node, and jQuery. Thanks to FEM my skills are always in demand and as a freelance web developer that has helped me get jobs and deliver solid products to a lot of companies.
