A few years ago, a team at Google started an ambitious project to create self-driving cars. Today they hit the road on their own as Waymo, a new way forward in mobility → goo.gl/fI8AX8
+Roderick Gadellaa the goggles reference was just an example. It's a fad and will not last. At least not in America. We are too in love with our cars and the driving experience. Also I'm not so sure the safety thing is as good as you think. There have already been crashes. Top that off with the fact that the car is basically a robot (computer) and therefore hackable. So such thing as a secure technology. Destined to fail in my belief.
+Virgil Mize Autonomous cars are coming to stay. Eventually your insurance company won't insure you for a reasonable price if your car can be human-piloted.
+Sarah Rosen Assuming you mean to make the car look like that and self drive, and not do self driving the classic way with the assistance of a person under dashboard steering the car. "Play Knight Rider theme song"
