Its pretty cool and all but.... I have enjoyed listening to various audio programs and all the thanks is owed to this app. However, what I enjoy most out of everything else are audiobooks. Tune in radio is the one place I would start looking for an audiobook first before moving on to other services. But after the new updates, the line between premium audiobooks and free books is blurry. Some audiobooks if not most are all premium and bundled up along with the free books even with the premium section having its own place. Please fix it.

Subscription cancelled?! Was a great app and then out of the blue my £5.99/m subscription has been cancelled. Does this mean it is now free or has the service been pulled or do I need to install pro? No email received, just Google advising that subscription cancelled. We re-review when I have a satisfactory explanation. £72 per year is not cheap and I'm clearly not valued. :(

Versatile and User Friendly I use this app daily and love it. I listen to local stations, sports and obscure topic stations, lots of old time radio and it works sith my Alex Echo Dot so I can ask Alexa to play any of my favotite stations and volia, she plays them. I tune in on hikes and trips and when im wzlking the dog, there is never a drop off like some other apps. Sear hing and saving favorites is also very easy ... can't go wrong

Tune In GREAT Radio I really like this app -- You should download it immediately! It plays pretty much every radio station in my area (Seattle) plus hundreds of Internet only feeds. You install it and it just works! My main complaint; some days the Tune In Radio feed is lost and I have to restart. This is less than 5% of the time. Use it -- you'll like it, too!

It no longer stays open. The app closes if a video plays with sound, this includes any apps or web pages that have sound. It'll just close. Everytime. I love the app, its my go to app for anything live. But the turning off of the app, is really really annoying, it should just pause until the video stops, or keep playing if I am playing a game on my phone. Can that be fixed? It never used to do that.

TuneIn Works Great I listen to three stations around the USA and all three come in crystal clear. There are only a small number of commercials each hour. I started out listening from my phone, but recently have also started listening through my laptop. It works very well with Amazon Alexa.

Radio everywhere This is app is great for finding radio stations if you know the exact correct name or frequency of the radio station. I don't think it's brilliant at scanning for local radio stations to your location. And at ti es doesn't find the actual station I'm looking for, but it goes to alternatives which can be annoying. But I love this app it's great and I can listen to my favourite stations and dj's anywhere in the world.

Feel it!!! I am only guessing, but i will take for granted that the guru behind the music is my little brother!! Love the influence of the 60's rolling into the 70's blues vibe. The selection of what I call "jamming" music is at the apogee of my musical appreciation scale. Love the eclectic artist played and the regional bands also....... the selections played keeps my assignment a shaking! Gotta respect a Playlist with older Frank Marino, Indigenous, a Jerry Reed country rocker and Son Seals Live. GREAT JOB!!

I was very excited to use the app with Android Auto, but I can't make sense on what the "next" and "previous" track actions do, sometimes it gives me the next most "recent" station I heard, and sometimes it just crashes. The only reliable way to change stations is using the menu on the screen which really distracts you from driving! Please fix this, it's impossible to "surf" stations without distraction

Dropping stations Many stations I listen to are no longer available on TuneIn, and the station it switches me to is not what I want. Sometimes I'll fine the program I want (Bob&Tom for example) and after a comercial break it will switch to music, even though I can listen to the same station via its webpage and the program will still be going. Not sure what has happened, but the app has gone downhill.

Too Many Preloaded Ads Ad supported apps OK by me. Developers gotta' get paid after all. But this one entirely overloaded with them. Listened literally for 6 minutes awaiting the local broadcast of an NFL game only to learn it was blacked out to TuneIn listeners. Unless a "premium" trial was started.

Easy, easy, easy... TuneIn Radio can broadcast just about anything, even while you run other apps (as long as those apps don't ALSO play audio), and while your screen is off. I just wish it had the ability to customize names for web links... Really a minor complaint, though.

Premium audio books skip When they switch chapters they jump all over the place. Never had a problem with podcasts. I was excited to get audio books but I am considering canceling because it's very annoying. Crappy customer service. No phone number and they think their FAQ solve everything. So much so that when you email them you have to send your message twice because it reroutes you to FAQ.

Bad performance The app needs a redesign to become simpler leaner and slicker. It's convoluted and complicated without a serious reason. Too many steps to play a station and jump between stations is horrible. Its slow to navigate through and there are a lot of streaming errors. Also the app doesn't feel fluid and fast for some reason.

too many big obnoxious ads Great selection of stations and podcasts. But every time you stop playback there's big half screen ads flashing and partially blocking the display. The main app won't allow the screen to time out and wastes battery. Though there is also a widget with a few commands, and can be used to help avoid the obnoxious commercialism.

No support Worked great at first, and I even bought the premium version. Then it began to freeze up and I had to force stop it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I reported the problem several times but received no help or replays. Nothing, not one reply. No acknowledgement of any kind. That is why I have the one star rating.

This used to be great I have used this continuously for at least 4 years and it has worked perfectly the entire time, regardless of what phone it was used on. That is until the last update. For approx 3 weeks now the app has become unresponsive and needs to be forced. And slowly some of my stations now are becoming just endless commercials

Sleep timer no longer works Now I get an error message that the app is not responding and it won't turn off after the alotted time. After getting up at 3am a few nights when I realized it was still playing, I tested it. Can't use at bedtime anymore.

Very hard to navigate! It takes umpteen clicks to be able to search for new stations it genres and it is the most unintuitive set up i gave cone across in years. I have a reasonably eclectic taste in stations and searching from one to another just takes too long. I keep on getting recommended stations that I don't want.

Cannot cancel premium trial I wanted to listen to a game and it stated I need to go premium and offered a 7 day trial. I opted for it only to find out that they didn't have the game they stated they had. Oh well, I guess I'll just cancel my subscription, right? Wrong, nowhere to cancel on the app. Website redirects to the app with no cancel button. I try to contact support, but of course there is email support. I did all I could. I dare them to try and take the fund out.

Best HIP-HOP I can find Perfect. I'm 45 grew up with Funk flex and dj red alert before that. It was the only way to get good hip-hop. Then around 2000 every station playing hip hop,but cats had to water down or crossover & that was a wrap for the real flow besides a select few. The Station I'LL VIBE FLOW gives you the real deal.

Garbage app Let this application run for an half an hour, and it won't shut down,. I have to reboot the phone to get the app to close. I listen to the news in the morning, and it's always 2-4 minutes behind the actual broadcast. Needs some serious work. I've complained, but to no avail.

Way too many ads Since TuneIn has introduced their premium service the amount of ads you are forced to listen to on the free site has exploded making it almost useless. You will miss half the program you want to listen to listening to ad after ad after ad I'm looking for an alternative.

Great app I listen to it all the time. At my shop the regular radio reception is bad i can hardly get any stations. But with Tune In on my phone they come in crystal clear. And when i am out of town i can tune in my local stations to see whats going on. Great app !

App still cuts out This app was great. But now it'll cut out unless I am in the app with it open on the screen. If my phone goes on standby app cuts out. If I go into something else app cuts out. Basically useless unless I stay in the app and keep my screen off standby

App is crashing and freezing often Tune in radio app has been crashing and freezing everyday for the last three weeks. When this occurs my phone does not work as quickly as it can. Slows down all other functions of my phone. Please update app.

Deceptive ad The full screen 7 or 30 day trial ad that appears when you first open the app is bad - it's deceptive - remove it. I just wanted to listen to radio - I don't want or need a trial which inevitably leads to a premium account.

Slow and buffering problems Should not be called a radio app cause listening to the radio is not possible. It stops every minute and never starts playing again saying "buffering 0%". I have a great connection and a fast tablet. The only thing to blame is your app.

Love it but... I love this app. I listen to stations from Dominican Republic and Nigeria and it's awesome! However I've read entry experienced problems where it freezes and says the app is not responding several times a day. Is there a update or a bug?

its an everyday staple... love tunedin! i am a public radio & college radio junkie, and tunedin is really great for fulfilling desires to have easy access to various stations- as well as a vast, searchable data base. also my daily go-to for indulging in my favorite podcasts. app is mostly user friendly & reliable. definitely worth a try!

The MS win 10 version works much better It is the only app that crashes my phone, an LG Stylo running Android 6.0, I want to love it but it constantly locks up requiring a full restart to kill the app. Very disappointed. Such a shame because I need it to listen to certain radio shows, I guess I'll have to use a PC instead. I'll go back to 5 stars if they fix it.

Premium Dissatisfied I upgraded to premium and....many stations I listened to, and favorites, no longer will stream. Bundesliga is shown as a premium station....unable to stream. CNBC is pushed as a new premium....silence. Other stations that show up under premium...when selecting them, will come up as unavailable and a redirect. Numerous free music stations that previously worked....no longer available. Unreal.

Constant Stopping Ever since I downloaded the most recent update, it will constantly stop in the middle of a stream and I have to exit out and keep re-starting. Plus, I will click on a live radio show, and the app says no entries in this list. So, I had to open the stream from the radio website. What have you all done to this app?

Amazing service. Nice app Crisp sound quality and refreshing sounds. I like to hear elemental soft tunes and healing spa music. Recents R accessible and plays it out fast. After u come back to the app after a while it automatically starts to play last channel or favorite selection. Kudos to the Tune in team

Does an ok job. Radio playing fine. Search function very poor and makes what you are trying to find difficult. Needs the ability to be moved to SD card. The attempts to force you to the ridiculously priced 'pro' version are laughable. The ads, in the latest update, are even more intrusive than before.

Uninstalling I used this app for years. It has recently become unusable. It would freeze so you couldn't do anything and keep playing. Annoying. Bye bye tune in. My tuner is way better!

Great app, but keeps freezing!!! Marked it from 5 stars to 3 because of late it is always freezing up, which keeps me from being able to pause/play/adjust volume. I have to then wait for it to say close app, then open it up again. :-(. Love being able to listen to CNN at work and being able to pause it if I need to step away from my desk.
