Hnefatafl is an implementation of the Norse board game. Hnefatafl 11x11, 13x13, Tablut, and many other variants are supported using rulesets. There is a command-line interface and an X interface (the latter is optional).

The Hnefatafl website has moved to `hnefatafl.se`. All old download links are still intact but will disappear eventually.


Release Notes: The whole program and all files are now released under the ISC license. Some code has been moved to a separate component. A possible signed overflow and a focus problem in some window managers were fixed. All makefiles are now compatible with gmake and pmake. All previous versions are obsolete.
