    Best advice I give to new devs asking for it: Learn the basics: HTML, CSS, and vanilla JS. Everything else follows smoothly as you need it.

    Is there no way to link the button and <nav> properly for landmarks without placing it inside the <nav>?

    Code example. The button is before the nav list of links.
    tip: Your menu button should be placed _within_ your <nav>, so it's still reachable by landmark navigation.
