eight years of being lectured by white men who on their own merits and grades couldn't even get into a class if Obama taught

Never forget that President Obama spent EIGHT YEARS getting lectured by white men who couldnt get accepted into college without daddy's help

Motherfucking C students telling us PoC that we were Affirmative Action applicants in college or hires. the fucking audacity

so basically you have a government full of mediocre C/D student white men who claim the rest of us are too lazy to get ahead

Most of them were 'C' students AT BEST. But that doesn't hinder their careers. The rest of us? yeah nah

I mentioned this before but go and look up the education & grades of some of these white politicians

Being a mediocre (or less than mediocre) white man will always be more acceptable to white America than an educated PoC

and as a PoC that's the shit that burns.

but white America could see how unqualified and unserious he was. But Donald Trump? yup. same qualities but he's white so its okay

and even then, to Carson's credit....he's still more intelligence than Trump. I mean he's a gifted surgeon.

He's unqualified, terrible at public speaking, completely out of his element and says dumb offensive shit.

I know this because Ben Carson is literally the black version of Donald Trump.

Imagine if Pres. Obama or any other black politician behaved like Trump did. They wouldn't get out the primary, much less be elected POTUS

They don't have to be more qualified or more educated than us. They just have to show up and White America defaults them as acceptable

That shit is personal to me (and a lot of PoC) because Trump literally represents how white men have gotten over all of us since day 1

But Donald Trump? He doesn't have to be any of that. Matter of fact, he gets credit for NOT being calm, collected or intelligent

AND EVEN THEN...most white people STILL didn't like him. It still wasn't enough

He had to do what most of us have to do in corporate environments surrounded by white people:not be "threatening" & make white ppl feel safe

More than just an outstanding academic record, he had to be well spoken, calm even in the face of racism, never lose his temper
