    I see that the head of the Farrakhan Fan Club, , took a short break from spewing her usual anti-semitic bigotry today to accuse a Jewish man of being a “white nationalist” because she apparently has no shame.

    Stephen Miller is a white nationalist, & a man living entirely in denial of Jewish tradition & Jewish history. He is the embodiment of what Judaism calls hillul hashem, a desecration of God's name. Equating criticism of him with an attack on Jews is, in itself, unfair to Jews.

    During my time in Congress before got here, I didn't once witness another Member target Jewish people like this with the name calling & other personal attacks. In 2019 though, for , this is just called Monday.

    I am chilled to the bone by the idea that any Jewish person of conscience could applaud Trump saying “Our country’s full, you can’t come in,” much less cheering raucously. Not long ago, it was we who were turned away from these shores by such prejudiced sentiments. For shame.

    Kris Kobach is who I brought up in my questioning of Wilbur Ross. He explicitly sought to include a Census Q to harm immigrants. Kobach hired &was funded by open white nationalists on his campaign. His ties are so known that Sec Ross’ own lawyers warned Ross to distance himself.

    Kris Kobach is on TV lobbying for the DHS job. He says if he was running the agency, he would "deploy the thousands of FEMA trailers" to "set up processing centers", which sounds an awful lot like concentration camps.

    It's still uncertain who will be Prime Minister, but one thing is certain: the Israeli Left has completely wiped of the map. The 3 left parties - Labor, Meretz and Hadash - got less than 20 seats. All together We need to build a new Left, popular and Jewish-Arab. And we will.

    This is what a consistent supporter of human freedom and dignity looks like.

    No ally is above reproach. We should not be enabling broadscale human rights violations. We must show solidarity with those brave Egyptians who continue to struggle for their internationally-recognized rights.
