Virgin River and Milky Way
The stars shine in the night sky over the Virgin River deep in Zion National Park. The trails of Zion are very busy in the day, but at night I had the park to myself and I was able to photograph the stars from one of the foot bridges over the Virgin River.

Excelsior Geyser and Milky Way
The stars and Milky Way shine over the Excelsior Geyser and Firehole River in Yellowstone National Park. This was taken this summer on my trip to Wyoming for the eclipse. I spent two nights in Yellowstone in the days leading up to the eclipse giving me a chance to photograph the geothermal features under the dark skies of the Yellowstone country.
As we are in Thanksgiving week I am very thankful for dark sky and the chance to go out and stare up at the stars.

Streaks of Light
Looking across the Bonneville Salt Flats at cars racing past on I-80. With the galactic core of the Milky Way being in the SW images including it had the interstate running through the image and I picked up some light trails from the cars.
