Seems that no one works on Saturday. Couldn't get a live person, even though a number is posted, it doesn't even ring! And not ONE business got any papers delivered on new year's Eve!
Used to be a good paper, but the stories have gone downhill and just aren't relevant or useful anymore. When I subscribed, the paper showed up late or not at all because of "technical difficulties". It's ink, on paper--how hard is that to deal with really? And when it actually was waiting in my driveway when I got up, all the "news" was old stuff I'd read online the night before for free. Why buy the cow? I started reading the Bangor Daily News online and don't miss the PPH at all. BDN's site is better anyway. • • •
