Police have called off their search for the suspect in a shooting that occurred Monday evening at an Islamic center after determining that a dead body found near the site was connected to the attack, a Zurich police spokesman said Tuesday.
The attack injured three people, and the police spokesman didn’t have an update on their condition.
On Monday evening, an unidentified person entered the center, not far from the city’s main train station, and fired several shots at a group of people gathered there for prayers.
Authorities weren’t considering the attack an act of terrorism, police spokesman Marco Bisa told the Associated Press.
