Steven H. Fagin presented his credentials as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen on June 1, 2022, in Aden. A career member of the Senior Foreign Service, class of Minister Counselor, Ambassador Fagin was most recently Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad (2020-21).

Prior to this assignment, she was Deputy Chief of Mission with the U.S. Embassy in Nouakchott, Mauritania, following a tour with the State Department’s Office of the Inspector General.
