We at UserVoice believe data should be the basis for product decisions. So we wanted to host a product management conference to showcase cutting-edge product management methodologies, processes, and technologies all rooted in data.
BASiS is different from other product management events in that it’s focused on how data can truly transform product management. Product management has always been a combination of art and science. Product people are continuously observing, measuring, testing, and iterating their hypotheses. We want to give product teams the tools and knowledge to tap into their inner scientist.

Dan Olsen is a product management consultant and author of the bestseller The Lean Product Playbook. At Olsen Solutions, Dan works with CEOs and product leaders to help build great products and strong product teams, often as interim VP of Product. Dan’s clients include Facebook, Box, Microsoft, Medallia, and One Medical Group. Dan also hosts the monthly Lean Product and Lean UX Meetup in Palo Alto.
Patrick Campbell is the Co-founder and CEO of Price Intelligently, the team and software behind some of the biggest and best SaaS pricing strategy out there from companies like Atlassian and Autodesk to Wistia and Litmus. PI is also the maker of ProfitWell, which is free financial metrics for subscription businesses. Prior to Price Intelligently Patrick lead Strategic Initiatives for Boston based Gemvara and was an Economist at Google and the US Intelligence community.
Richard White is Co-founder and CEO of UserVoice. During his time at the helm, starting in 2008, UserVoice has expanded from a small, virtual operation to a company with bi-coastal teams in San Francisco, CA and Raleigh, NC. Richard’s foundational expertise lies in UI design & UX and he has made notable contributions to the startup community through his involvement as an early member of both Founder’s Network and Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC). He speaks at conferences around the world on various topics, including entrepreneurship, UX design, and the critical importance of putting customers at the center of building products.
As Vice President of Product, Brandon Terry leads a team that is responsible for creating world-class products for the construction industry. From Procore's early days as a startup company, Brandon built, and currently oversees, the Product Management and User Experience teams at Procore. Working heavily with construction professionals, Brandon's team takes a customer-driven approach to improving Procore's products, ensuring that Procore is constantly building software that the construction market values. Brandon Received his BA in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
