    Well done

    Breaking: A committee made up of MPs from Labor, the Liberals, the Greens and Nationals has called for voluntary assisted dying to be legalised in WA for terminally ill patients. Only one MP on the committee - Lib MP Nick Goiran - provided a dissenting opinion.

    A 12 yo girl reportedly set herself on fire on Nauru yesterday. Australia is burning, in winter. We’re in drought. But Libs & Nats shut down Parl. Just so they can indulge themselves & avoid the real issues. Self-interest before public interest. KICK THIS MOB OUT

    This is my final sitting day in the Senate before I resign my seat to focus on winning the House of Reps seat of for the & helping get rid of this horrendous govt - the Liberals seem to be working hard on getting the same outcome.

    Post-company tax cut rejection, Julie Bishop shouts in that Senate is sending us on the road to becoming more like left/ governed Portugal. Just quietly, their economy is booming, fossil fuel subsidies have gone & austerity is out the window.

    While the Liberals were on their phones with each other this morning, debating how much further they want to move to the right, I stood in solidarity with the Rohingya People against the ethnic cleansing still continuing at the hands of the Myanmar security forces.

    We’ve just had our inaugural / meeting and heard some incredible breakthroughs from NCNED about diagnostic tests for this debilitating condition and particularly, the failure of graded exercise therapy & to treat it

    Peter Dutton is the chief organiser of the torture of children. You’ve probably already worked this out, but there is no way I would offer him confidence & supply. It’s time for the people to turf this rotten gov out, especially if it’s led by a human rights abuser.
