The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is located a few short blocks from the historic Santa Fe Plaza and is open daily from 10 AM -5 PM and Fridays from 10 AM – 7 PM.

Book a Tour of the Home and Studio
Georgia O’Keeffe’s Home and Studio is located in the village of Abiquiu, 60 miles northwest of Santa Fe. The home is open to the public for tours seasonally between mid-March and mid-November, and reservations are required.
Behind the Scenes Tours: June 2 – September 8, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6pm: Tour O’Keeffe’s Home and Studio, and walk through the Black Patio Door – which inspired O’Keeffe to paint it many times – to enter the room behind, where she prepared her canvases. Go into the Fallout Shelter O’Keeffe built on the property in the early 1960s. Tour commences at the Home & Studio.
Special Tours, June 8 – November 2, Thursdays at 10 am and 1 pm: Tour O’Keeffe’s Home and Studio on Thursdays with the Historic Properties Director, who worked with O’Keeffe for over 10 years. You will be provided with insights into the daily life of an artist. These tours begin at the Tour Office located at the Abiquiu Inn.

Getting to Abiquiu
The Tour Office is located next door to the Abiquiu Inn on US Highway 84, between mile markers 211 and 212. Please allow sufficient time for the drive, which is approximately an hour if coming from Santa Fe or ninety minutes if coming from Taos.
