Gus Robertson serves as Chief Executive Officer of NGINX and is a seasoned leader in the technology industry, including companies such as Microsoft, Visio, Lexmark, and Red Hat. Gus has a proven track record of building successful commercial offerings, strengthening open source communities, and driving customer loyalty.

Igor Sysoev’s passion for solving the C10k problem led him to become the author of NGINX, which was initially released in 2004. NGINX’s popularity and use became so widespread that Igor co-founded NGINX, Inc. in 2011. He has 15 years of experience in deeply technical roles and is currently the Chief Technology Officer.

Maxim Konovalov co-founded NGINX, Inc. in 2011 and is currently the Vice President of Engineering. He brings 20 years of extensive leadership experience in software development, IT infrastructure, corporate information systems, and open source product and project management.

Mark brings over 30 years of financial and operational expertise as Chief Financial Officer of NGINX, Inc. Mark’s extensive leadership experience includes holding the position of Chief Financial Officer at technology companies including Mercadao Software, Match.com, and nCircle Network Security.

Owen Garrett leads the product and go-to-market strategy for NGINX’s web acceleration and delivery technologies. Owen has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and product leadership at companies such as Riverbed. Today, Owen uses his technical and management expertise to optimize NGINX products and customer satisfaction.

Peter Guagenti is Chief Marketing Officer for NGINX, Inc. For 20 years, Peter has been a digital business expert, creating defining online experiences and driving customer success. He has deep experience in business strategy, leadership, marketing, design, product development, and operations.

Mary Jane (MJ) Shutte is the Vice President of Corporate Sales and has been named one of the Top 25 Most Influential Inside Sales Professionals by the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals for five consecutive years in a row. MJ has a proven background in successfully building and growing start-up sales organizations.

Rick Nelson is the Manager of Pre-Sales, with over 30 years of experience in technical and leadership roles at a variety of technology companies, including Riverbed Technology. From virtualization to load balancing to accelerating application delivery, Rick brings deep technical expertise and a proven approach to maximizing customer success.

Paul Oh is Head of Business Development at NGINX, Inc. and has a keen eye for new business opportunities. Paul’s career includes extensive experience in leading technology alliance programs and revenue driven partnerships at companies such as Sun Microsystems, SugarCRM, and Canonical.
