Zoomed Picture Needs a Close (X) Option

2 stars for not including a basic feature like a close (x) button on zoomed pictures. Fix that, and I may increase the rating. For now you have to click and hold the picture and drag it down to the right into its original smaller picture outline to get it to go back to the message.

New messages and notifications often late

The app seems to lose connection a lot. I've missed lots of notifications and new messages from it if I don't keep the app open and check on it occasionally.

Great service, OK app

I love Messenger as a service, but the Windows PC app is just OK. It could use more work, especially in the bug fix department. For example, I can read messages, but when I go to reply to any of them, there is a weird visual glitch that takes over the app (not my entire screen) and makes it impossible to see the messages that have been sent and the one I am trying to send.

Needs work

This was designed obviously for mobile, with not enough thought for desktop. Some basic functions, like leaving an expanded image, does not have a button, but rather requires you to do the gesture with the mouse. Additionally, it's missing some features of messenger.com, such as when you have an image on the clipboard, and you hit ctrl+v, it should send the image to the chat. Messenger.com does that, why doesn't this app?

took a while but I figured out how to exit pictures

Like a few other people on here, I had trouble trying to get out of viewing/zooming in on pictures. I couldn't get out of pictures without closing the app. BUT I did discover the solution if you all are still stuck. Simply swipe the picture away with your finger if you are on a touch-PC or tablet, or double click and drag the picture away quickly with your mouse cursor. I wish there were some instructions somewhere telling me how to do this weeks ago when I first downloaded the app. Other than that issue the app works pretty well.

Constantly crashes

The app on different computers with updated Win10, crash constantly. You minimize it and then return, and it crashes. It's stupid annoying. Sometimes just freezes, and it's just not this PC. It happens on all of the Intel based PC's.

ok

Can't copy/paste on the app and exiting a full size picture is not intuitive. The app sometimes crashes too at times. Needs more features/and fixes!

It works, but why can't I shrink the window size?

I don't like how much screen real estate it requires. If I shrink it down to what I consider to be a normal messenger width (I want it to take up only 1/4 or less of my screen), it doesn't resize the conversation but instead cuts off the side of the remaining text. The app seems to want to take up 1/3 or more of my screen width and I think that's honestly kind of ridiculous. I don't need that much space, I want to keep it a small column off to one side and use the vast majority of my screen for my work.
