CaliOpen

Gandi supports the all-in-one secure messaging service, CaliOpen.
At the heart of the debate on the monitoring of digital communication, Laurent Chemla has relaunched the Caliop project, a suite of free programs that have been created and configured in such a way as to guarantee everyone confidentiality in their private communications.

Ubuntu is a free operating system that is based on GNU/Linux by Canonical. The objective of Ubuntu is to provide a free multi-support platform accessible to everyone.

Geeklist

Geeklist is a social network that is dedicated to developers and technical communities, in order to facilitate exchange and development. Geeklist regularly organizes hackathons with the goal of aiding worthy communities. This help is given freely by developers around the world who collaborate together via the tools made available by Geeklist.

The Software Freedom Conservancy

The Software Freedom Conservancy is a not-for-profit organization that helps promote, improve, develop, and defend Free, Libre, and Open Source Software (FLOSS) projects. Conservancy provides a non-profit home and infrastructure for FLOSS projects. This allows FLOSS developers to focus on what they do best — writing and improving FLOSS for the general public — while Conservancy takes care of the projects' needs that do not relate directly to software development and documentation.

Code the Change

Code the Change helps computer scientists use their skills for social change to make social change an integral part of computer science culture. Gandhi said that we must be the change we wish to see in the world; Code the Change believes that computer scientists must code the change they wish to see in the world.

Wikiotics

Wikiotics is an educational project focused on facilitating learning languages with interactive and re-mixable materials built by the online community. Wikiotics is looking to expand its community of language teachers, offering workshops and showcases for the material they assemble from community contributions.

Gnome

GNOME is the acronym for GNU Network Object Model Environment, a free, user-friendly desktop environment, which goal is to make the use of GNU operating system accessible to most people: this user interface is very popular on GNU/Linux systems.
The GNOME Foundation regroups several hundreds of volunteer developers, provides the logistics as well as the financial and legal backup for the GNOME project, and helps to determine its vision and its development plan.

FluxBB

FluxBB is a fast and light discussion board written in PHP. It is delivered under the GNU GPL License.
Its main objectives are: being faster, lighter, graphically less intense compared to other boards applications. Thus FluxBB has less functionalities than many other discussion boards, but it is generally much faster and generates lighter pages. Moreover, the code generated by FluxBB is conform to the W3C's Strict XHTML 1.0 and CSS2 norms.

The WWF is the world's largest environmental protection advocacy organization. The WWF works on a global level to find concrete and sustainable solutions. The organization aims to involve all the various actors: local communities, businesses, governments, international organizations and NGOs.

VideoLAN is a community development project creating freeware in the multimedia and video over network space.
Started by French students just over a decade ago, it has today become an international project that has gained recognition thanks to the creation of software such as the VLC multimedia player.

The FIDH (International Federation of Human Rights)

It represents a network of 155 organizations that defend human rights around the world. Since 1922 FIDH has been active in the combat against all forms of injustice, intolerance, racism, and discrimination. FIDH acts to protect victims of human rights abuses, the prevention of these abuses, and in the pursuit of their authors.
Gandi supports FIDH by helping consolidate its network on the internet, and to increase its visibility in order to better inform the public and to defend human rights.

SpamHaus

The Spamhaus Project is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to track the Internet's Spam Gangs, to provide dependable realtime anti-spam protection for Internet networks, to work with Law Enforcement Agencies to identify and pursue spammers worldwide, and to lobby governments for effective anti-spam legislation.

Founded in 1998, Spamhaus is based in Geneva, Switzerland and London, UK and is run by a dedicated team of 25 investigators and forensics specialists located in 9 countries.

Spamhaus publishes the Register Of Known Spam Operations (ROKSO) - a database collating information and evidence on the '200' known worst spam gangs worldwide, used by ISPs to avoid signing up known spammers who would abuse their networks and by Law Enforcement Agencies to help target and mount prosecutions against professional spammers. The Debian project is an association of individuals that share the common goal of creating an open-source operating system that manages resource databases and allows launching applications. Debian systems currently use the Linux kernel.

Silex is a website builder that is accessed directly from a web browser.
As a free and open source web application hosted in the cloud, Silex allows you to create websites without needing to install anything.

Sea Shepherd

Established in 1977 by Captain Paul Watson who had just left Greenpeace which he felt had become too bureaucratic, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization.
Sea Shepherd's mission is not limited to protests and documentation. Their goal is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species, in a zone that is currently free from regulations and where most environmental crimes and violations can take place without any risk of reprehension.

FLISol

FLISol (Festival Latinoamericano de Instalación de Software Libre) is a festival dedicated to promoting free software in Latin America. This is the largest event for free software in Latin America, if not worldwide. Featuring 20 countries and over 200 cities, this festival is particularly unique for being held simultaneously at those locations every year on the fourth Saturday of April and being organized by the community without any legal representation.
