The rectors came from universities in #Argentina, #Bolivia, #Brazil, #Chile, #Colombia, #CostaRica, #DominicanRepublic, #Ecuador, #Honduras, #Nicaragua, #Paraguay, #Peru, #Uruguay, and #Venezuela. "This was a very productive gathering and we hope it will lead to many fruitful collaborations," said Naama Shpeter, executive director and the conference organizer at the Hebrew University's Truman Institute. International Relations students in Prof. Lior Herman’s Political Economics class enjoyed an especially touching class today! Talia, a BA student studying International Relations and Political Science, was surprised by her boyfriend, Aviad, who proposed in front of a class full of excited students (during a discussion on the connection between wealth and happiness). The Hebrew University community wishes them lots of happiness as they start their new journey together!

Studying at t...he Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in a part of the world I had never been to, opened my eyes to so many things. I got to see so much history and culture, while traveling to places I never imagined I would get to see. Being able to go into the field and see the issues I was studying in real life is an experience that I would definitely never trade. Being at Hebrew U helped broaden my horizons academically, culturally, and interpersonally, all while being in such a beautiful place!
