Tracker Blocking Laboratory

The EFF Tracker Blocking Laboratory is an experimental fork of AdBlock Plus for OHM 2013 participants and other interested parties to experiment with. It autogenerates blocklists based on apparent respect for Do Not Track requests, as measured by the continued presence of third party cookies after a DNT: 1 header has been sent (eventually, this should apply only to high-entropy cookies and should also test for likely fingerprinting and supercookieing). CDNs and other sites that are not actually third party trackers may be "whitelisted" so that they are only cookie-blocked rather than completely blocked. Sites can also self-whitelist by agreeing to a privacy policy that the user or their client has specified as satisfactory.

The TBL is initially available for Chrome and installable from the Chrome Web Store. The source code is available from github.
