How Do I Activate My Discogs Account?

An activation notification was sent to your email address when you registered your Discogs account. You must read this message and then click the activation link before you can use most functions of the site, including contributing to the Database, and buying and selling items in the Marketplace. We send the emails immediately when you create your account, so the confirmation should arrive within just a few minutes.

What if I don't receive my account activation email?

  • Check your spam or junk folders. Many email programs default to very sensitive anti-spam settings, and move the email to a junk folder.
  • Make sure your email address is entered correctly in your account settings.
  • If you still haven't received your activation code, please try resending your activation code. Note that you may need to wait 24-48 hours to try re-sending the code.
