I've had a passion for sea shells for my   entire life. My gramma gave me a bunch of them and my mom bought me a book so I   could identify them all. It's really fun to look at this gorgeous photo and be   able to name almost all the mollusks.

Two bodies of water merging in the Gulf of Alaska. It is a result of the melting glaciers being composed of fresh water, while the ocean has a higher percentage of salt. The two bodies of water have different densities, therefore making it difficult to mix.
