    My personal standard regarding the condemnation of extremism, of all forms, is consistent. Your rhetoric propagates the same type of radicalism that leads to leftist-terrorism. Instead of telling me to “sit down,” stand up for common decency, human dignity, and mutual respect.

    Patriotism is also not being afraid to criticize your country if it's not living up to its promise. It's being able to admit that past wrongs need to be redressed. It's not pushing simplistic historical narratives & national symbols like a fetish.

    When will the general public realise what true patriotism is? Patriotism is not waving a flag or following a call to arms. Patriotism is loving one’s country. That can only be achieved by loving one’s countrymen. A rough sleeper or a hungry child is an affront to a true patriot!
