    ...And it appears this actually causes an email that I intentionally ignored & marked as read to come back and stick to my unread emails list at the top (I use "unread at the top" mode). Not cool at all.

    Another interesting feature in the new Gmail. Not sure it's helpful though... Unless you're sending cold email campaigns and want to lower your "ignore" rate.
