    Last week, honored Texas liberators and their families before the opening of the Museum's newest exhibit. Visit "The Texas Liberator: Witness to the Holocaust" to learn the stories of veterans like Chick Havey, pictured here with Holocaust survivor Dr. Anna Steinberger.

    The Museum is closed today for a private event. "The Texas Liberator: Witness to the Holocaust" opens tomorrow, September 7.

    "The Texas Liberator: Witness to the Holocaust" opens on September 7. This exhibit tells the story of 25 U.S. soldiers, including Johnnie Marino, who liberated the concentration camps in Europe at the end of the Second World War. More info here:

    The 2018-2019 Engines of Change Student Ambassadors met for the first time last night. They were the last group to tour "The Faces of Syrian Refugees" before it closed.

    On August 22, Dayana Halawo and learn about her four-year journey to flee Syria to the United States. Her journey led her to Damascus, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt before being resettled in Houston in 2016. Register here:
