    Saudi women activists facing the criminal court were charged with promoting women’s rights & calling for the end of the male guardianship system.The women were also charged with contacting foreign media & contact with Amnesty International. Defending women’s rights is now a crime

    11 women activists in were prosecuted in Riyadh for their human rights work & contact with international organizations. This is yet another stain on Saudi authorities’ appalling human rights record & shows how empty the claims of reform really are.

    She was shot dead for protecting human rights in exactly one year ago. She stood up for black women, LGBTI people & young people in Rio de Janeiro. Demand justice for Marielle Franco.

    Please take the time to sign this petition today. Nasrin dedicated her life to work, including defending women who peacefully protest against ’s forced hijab laws. She has now been sentenced to 33 years in prison.
