3/ Apparently a lot of XRP fans are furious that they think Ripple's graphic is misleading and suggests that XRP itself can be frozen. To clarify, the assets underlying XRP's value and upon which XRP fees may be paid, may be freezeable, XRP itself is not currently freezeable.

4/ One last try: the XRP ledger can host many different assets. XRP is one of them, and XRP's value depends partly on fees being paid for transfer of other assets. XRP is not currently freezeable, other assets on the XRP ledger are under some circumstances.

5/ Big picture: I have nothing against Ripple or XRP. It's not a scam. It may have a killer use case. Just need to acknowledge that more than 50% of XRP are owned by one company, and most trusted nodes are run by that same company, and some assets on ledger can be frozen.

If you were serious about not shilling, you would clarify that XRP's value comes from paying fees on assets that can be frozen. Fewer people that own XRP know that.

The more aggressive banks freeze assets, the more demand there will be for an asset that can be transmitted without censorship. Even if the internet is shut down, there's a Bitcoin satellite. Yes, for now, fiat onramps matter. But you can buy BTC via ATM in any major city.

The defensiveness is incredible. I posted a graphic from the Ripple company. If you think the graphic or feature are fine, then great. If not, take it up with them. I said nothing about freezing XRP.

I added a part 3 to clarify. I'm sure you'll clarify on any future XRP threads that the ripple ledger contains the ability to freeze assets so no one mistakenly thinks it's fully decentralized.
