For a decade, Israel has enforced a military blockade over two million Palestinians in Gaza. Now, people in Gaza only have an average of 3 hours of electricity per day. This countdown represents the time you would have to wait for electricity to come on – or the time you have left until it’s out. Because Gazans don’t know when power will come on, your countdown clock is unique.

Jewish Voice for Peace believes that the people of Gaza should have electricity, clean drinking water, functioning hospitals, and opportunities to rebuild.
