Prepare to Be Transformed
The Executive Program (EP) is a week-long immersive course in Silicon Valley that examines how key converging technologies will shape our future and explores ethical leadership in a world of rapid change. This intensive program is intended for senior leaders in business, government, and nonprofit sectors with the desire to have a positive impact at scale, and who want to create their organization’s future—and the world’s future—not simply react to it.

Watch the EP overview
World-class experts deliver interactive presentations in an immersive classroom setting, paired with insightful discussions and activities that leverage the diverse cohort of thought leaders and innovators we convene for each session. Participants also experience technology first-hand and get a taste of Silicon Valley’s “maker” culture through SU’s iLab and off-campus visits. By convening a class of future-oriented senior influencers from over 30 countries and a broad range of industries, the program fosters insightful dialogues with uncommon partners and builds a supportive community of like-minded peers.
At the EP, you’ll learn what it means to “think exponentially” and develop the insights and framework you’ll need to design for an abundant future.
Program Overview
Exponential technologies are humanity’s most powerful tools for creating new opportunities and solving the significant challenges that we face. They demonstrate how the sustained doubling of price performance in computing power holds an immense potential to shape a better future. You’ll explore technologies first-hand in our Innovation Lab, which features 3D printers and scanners, robots, virtual reality headsets, drones, and a broad range of software and prototyping tools.
We’ll also provide you with a set of proven tools for integrating these technologies and nimble innovation practices into your organization, including: design thinking, lean startup processes, DIY tools, rapid prototyping, the hacker and maker movements, future forecasting, and open source approaches to innovation. You'll uncover actionable insights about the trends that are already shaping our future including:
- The continued emergence of AI and machine learning that are complementing human jobs
- The rise of “digital natives” and how they’ll leverage their skills in a new labor market
- The design of cities in an age of autonomous cars
- The ethics of synthetic biology and who owns the rights to our DNA
Together, these insights and tools will enable you to predict and evaluate how accelerating technologies are transforming your industry, your organization, your career, and your life.
While other leadership programs focus on best business practices for today, you’ll come away with an exponential vision for the future in this era of convergence and rapid change.
“The nature of technological progress is exponential. These technologies, as we have seen with computer chips, get twice as capable every year or so, for the same price. The reason that information technology grows exponentially is that we can use the latest technology to develop the next.”
—Dr. Ray Kurzweil
Co-founder and Chancellor, Singularity University
Who You'll Meet
When you attend an Executive Program, you’ll be part of a cohort of 100 dynamic leaders and changemakers from around the world who will deepen your understanding and broaden your perspective of our changing world.
Each cohort attracts CEOs, CTOs, R&D leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, government officials, regulators, and thought leaders. The people that you will meet not only during the Executive Program but also once you engage with our alumni community represent the future of their industries and countries, and are often working on projects that have the potential to reshape the way the world works.
