A TON of people could clean it/ resell them as barely used, as opposed to a fingerprint protected iPhone 7 which is inaccessible.

this has zero to do with Chinese stealing our tech. What is the United States to do now with all the unemployed born in America, legal and illegal immigrants in our country now without a job. Your view of the view has no basis in realism

I don't get it. This is sheer economics. I couldn't hire Mexicans by the Home Depot to help me move for less than $10 an hour. http://me.richtrek.com/2017/01/california-liberals-jobs-rising-minimum.html <-- more economic explanations

so you're saying that low skilled workers should not have job in the United States because you don't those jobs here? Only Google and Facebook who can afford to pay engineers well should be allowed to employ people because any competitive industry with low profit margins should be sent packing to a third world nation. Yes, it's people like me or the apparel factory owner which employ people in a low margin industry that are problem. Better to have unemployed people begging on the side of the road? That's the solution according to your retarded math.

look, demand for housing is HIGH in LA because of the weather, tech, and entertainment. Where in LA can you really build? You think homeowners in Brentwood will allow high rises to house non-English speakers to go up next to them? While a few consumers are willing to pay more for Made in USA, it isn't enough versus the people crying for workers rights and higher pay to shell out a few dollars more of their hard earned money for a product nearly identical for a cheaper price. I wrote a full rebuttal here: http://me.richtrek.com/2017/01/california-liberals-jobs-rising-minimum.html if you have any thoughts, feel free

this statement is a fundamental misunderstanding of economics and business. Google and Facebook can afford to pay their engineers very well because what they produce is scalable and available to the whole world very quickly, and isn't necessarily easily reproducible thus having high profit margins. Someone who sews/ decorates/ dyes clothes can produce X amount of product per hour which can be sold for Y$. As these jobs require little skill, there isn't much of a barrier to compete thus producing LOW profit margins. When you dictate that a company must pay their employees an amount per hour greater than Y$ that company ceases to operate, because other companies which are able to pay employees less than Y$ will continue to undersell you. And are consumers going to buy from that cheaper producer because as much you and others "empathize" with the conditions of workers, you don't want to pay a higher price for the same product. This is why even if the entire US would adopt a $15 minimum wage, these jobs would be relocated to Cambodia where workers are paid $100 a month. http://www.richtrek.com/2015/08/touts-making-journey-from-thai.html you can see photos/ videos of workers leaving their jobs at the following link near the bottom of the page to get an idea of what life is like for them.
