I know its hard seeing the swamp dragons take 2 of the 3 top free agents this year, but the image the Nets were able to sell to kd and kyrie was due to their patience and methodical building of a competing team, Aka what we need to be doing and by all accounts ARE doing. Rome wasnt built in a day and while it stings to miss out on those guys we have a promising young roster thats going to be a lot of fun to watch.

This FO is still a fairly new regime for us and we owe it to them to at least see their vision out. We cant preach patience and beg for the tank, to then just expect to sign all the top talent especially only two years into the first true rebuild this franchise has ever had.

If we 'fail' with this core, we will have at least tried to do things right and theres merit and satisfaction in that. Only one team wins the championship every year. We owe it to our young guys to see what theyre capable of, this season and moving forward.

This season will be rough in a lot of ways, and lord in heaven will this offseason will feature unprecedented levels of newphew-isms and lolknicks-ing. But we're on the right track lads. We're doing things how theyre supposed to be done. Take a deep breath and get ready to root for our guys hard come October. Lets make the garden fucking louder than ever.
