Wicca is a modern neopagan religion that is based on ancient pagan beliefs. It's an earth-based religion that traditionally believes in a God and Goddess as representative of a greater pantheistic godhead.
Wicca views the spiritual and material worlds as overlapping: the gods are not distant beings but entities whose presence we can experience. This religion stresses personal experience with divinity and developing greater harmony with the larger world. Wiccans view the universe as the product of complementary opposites in a system roughly akin to the Chinese concept of yin and yang.
Wicca includes a system of ethics and teaches that we all are ultimately responsible for our own actions. We believe in gods. We believe in magic. We believe in multiple realities. We practice alone, or in groups. We practice witchcraft.

- Don't be mean.
- Trolls and spammers will be banned.
- Before you ask a question about what types of book you should read, or where to find pagan podcasts, make sure you visit the wiki!
- This is not the place to sell magic and/or spells.
- Linking to your own website is fine (especially if you are providing a service/info wiccans would be interested in) but the spam rule still applies!
- No "witch hunt" posts, unless they explicitly pertain to Wiccans or Pagans.
- No content-less images that are not created by OP (basically, if you take a picture, it's fine. But if you google "majick faerie moon goddess" and post some random thing you find, not so much).
