1) No advertising or spam! We will remove comments and posts that advertise your business in any way (including monetized affiliate links). If you post it here, it will be deleted and you will be banned. Vendor AMAs: Please contact the mods first. Please note that you cannot advertise in your AMA, and verification will be done via PM by the mods.
2) No feedback requests or giveaways: Please don't use this sub for market research or for free giveaways – even without advertising the business. (Examples of feedback requests that aren't allowed: “I’m a DJ looking for feedback on songs you absolutely want at your wedding”, or “I’m developing a wedding app for ____ and want your feedback”).
3) Consider your privacy when posting identifying info: you may include names of bride/groom and your faces at your discretion. Addresses must be obscured. Wedding website URLs are not allowed.
4) Use that report button: If you feel a post is in violation of any of the rules, or is inappropriate content, please click the report button underneath the post or comment. Reports are anonymous.
5) No vote requests or gofundme links: Any posts of this type will be removed immediately.
6) Be respectful: Constructive criticism is fine – hateful comments are not.
7) Engagement ring pics: We do allow engagement ring photos but you might get a better reception at /r/justengaged. Wedding ring pictures are allowed.
8) Context: Any content not directly related to your own your own experiences with weddings and planning will be removed.
9) Region can affect etiquette: Include the region you're from when asking etiquette questions.
10) Please, no bashing ideas posts! No posts that are made specifically to bash a group of ideas about planning - see this mod post for details.
11) No memes/funny gif posts: /r/trollxweddings is a better place for these.
