This subreddit is dedicated to discussing Marvel Studios, their films and television series, and anything else related to the MCU. The first film in the MCU was Iron Man, in 2008.

RULES
1. Do NOT post spoilers in post titles
- FILMS - Any revealing discussion related to the films counts as a spoiler until its DVD release.
- NETFLIX SHOWS - Any revealing discussions related to the Netflix shows should be tagged as a spoiler until a month after its release.
- TV EPISODES - Any revealing episode discussions related to AoS should be tagged as a spoiler until a week after the episode airs.
- UNOFFICIAL INFO - Any revealing information from the trades, scoops sites should be tagged as spoilers. This includes cast photos and shooting locations.
- To tag spoilers in your post include [spoilers] at the front of your title!
2. No reposts
- Refrain from reposting articles/topics that are already being discussed on the front page will be removed
3. News must be sourced
- The first post that is either A) the original source or B) links to the original source will be allowed up. If any domain is found to be stealing content without attribution it will be banned from /r/marvelstudios. Also, blogspam will be removed.
4. Be civil
- Name-calling, racism, and hate speech will not be tolerated.
- Bans will handed out at our discretion if we believe you are breaking the no civility rule. Racism and hate speech are not appealable.
5. Don't be a fanboy.
6. No non-Marvel Studios topics
- Any posts related to non-Marvel Studios productions, such as the Marvel films produced by Fox and Sony will be removed. This also includes off topic or posts not directly related, such as costumes, DVD collections, action figures, and actual comics. This is a broad category - if your post was removed for this reason, feel free to message the mods to request clarification.
7. No Spam or Low Quality Content.
- Low effort image macros/memes or reaction gifs.
Clickbait articles, or rumours without sources.
Spam, such as multiple posts in short time.
8. No illegal content
- Any direct links to unofficial streams will be removed and the poster will be banned for life
9. Fan casts and birthday posts must be self posts
- Fan casts must come with a justification of why you think that actor would be well suited for the role. Any direct image links will be removed.
10. No political/inflammatory posts
- If your post uses something from the MCU to tangentially relate to politics/current events/something not related to the MCU it will be removed. This rule is enforced on a per-post basis.
