We want to announce that GNU Free Documentation License 1.3 has been added as one of the license alternatives for PMC (Parabola Multimedia Collections) from now on.
So far, we had only Free Art License 1.3 and Creative Commons
Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License as options for redistribute and/or modify our multimedia files through the wiki, repo and git for PMC (Parabola Multimedia Collections), formerly PAC (Parabola Art Collections) and POM (Parabola Official Multimedia). However, Richard Stallman suggested us use the GNU Free Documentation License 1.3 as one of the license alternatives to make compatible with FSF works, so we want to be thankful for his suggestion!
We're very happy to announce that we have the GNU and Bola comic book titled "IoT" available in British English language!
Parabola is always looking for new volunteers, then if you have a understanding of written English and a good command of your native language, you can certainly engage in translation, or do proof-reading. Writing good English is not necessary!

If you are a user of biblatex-biber from [pcr] you should upgrade to biber now that it's provided as a [community] package. This means uninstalling the old package (and its dependents) through pacman; the new one has a different name and you won't get it as part of a system upgrade. texlive-bibtexextra includes the functionality of biblatex-biber's dependent: biblatex.

Today we're announcing that Parabola will take part in the 1st edition of Software e Cultura no Brasil, the Free Software seminary organized by the Federal University of ABC (Portuguese: Universidade Federal do ABC, UFABC) in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil on August 15-16 2016.
This year’s edition, Parabola will have its official seminary at August 16, 10:00 hrs (UTC-3) in Brazilian Portuguese language. The speaker will be again our Parabola dev called André Silva (known as Emulatorman).
