FCC Licenses

FCC Licenses are governed by Administrative Policy 655 

Departments desiring to purchase new two-way radio communications systems, add radio frequencies to an existing system and/or obtain or renew a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) License, must first obtain approval.

To begin the process, submit a request. Be sure to include the following information:

• Your name
• Your department name
• Office number/location
• Your phone number
• Best time to call (if other than business hours)
• Describe the general use and purpose for the FCC License.
