Not bad at all, Microsoft. I've recently bought a new laptop that came with OneNote on it. I honestly wasn't sure that I'd like it, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Turns out, I liked it a lot. It ended up replacing my S Note app on my Galaxy Note. It's very organized and has many useful features. My only complaint is that you can't change the font or font size on the mobile app. This needs to be changed.

Why is there no ability to share a page! I really, mostly, love onenote. But, ability. Even a "select all" it is the ONLY app on my phone with no share functionality for a PAGE. I have no desire to share my entire notebook (the only option available). Please, please Microsoft, add normal shareand copy function would help

Very frustrating to use once again! After being happy for a little while because of UNDO and REDO being finally added and the Google keyboard bugs being fixed, the update after broke it again. Editing a line either deletes the word to the left or the whole line. Selecting a line then pressing Caps deletes it. You also can't paste to an empty line anymore! I can't decide whether to love or hate this app right now.

Better than Evernote Very good not taking app with a lot of features and flexibility to collect and organize the notes. There are only 2 things I am not satisfied: It is missing on Android is a better web clipper (similar to the one for the Desktop which is way better than Evernote Webclipper) and the synchronization shall be improved (in background)

School notes inaccessible Thank you so much, the update before this one finally allowed me to at least access my personal notes. However I am still unable to sign into my school account. I found a work around though by creating a new notebook on my computer and sharing it with my personal account. Now I am able to view and edit my school notes on my tablet.

Awesome but to many clicks to format a word I love the app. I use it everyday and it is now my go to note taking app. Using it everyday, I've become aware of a small annoyance I have. It's not easy to format a word, i.e. bold, underline, italic... There's to many clicks to get to the format menu. Can you find a way to just add it as an option when I highlight a word? That would be great. Thank you.

Great! The mobile app is lacking some features of the windows desktop version, but overall its very easy and useful to keep track of your various lists and notes. Would like to be able to enter password protected notes on the go, and syncing seems a bit slow at this point... Managing sections, copy pasting various items also a must. Looking forward to updates. Update: Requests have been added and app works great up to 5 stars now! Recommended.

Very Useful I recently changed my Android device from Samsung Galaxy to Huawei P9. Since then, I can't copy and paste from other sources to One Note. It's becoming useless for me & I have started using other app.

It does its job well As someone who loves writing short stories as a liberal arts student in college, One Note actually does its job well. The multiple sections of a single "note book" lets me stay organized with new ideas and old concepts all in one keep. It's not Microsoft Word but it's definitely better than Google Docs!

Good I switched from Evernote after it changed its policies. The first thing that I noticed was that the application is much slower. The other problem was that the notes are stored on Microsoft cloud - One Drive, so I had to empty it, because I had more stuff there than new quota allowed. It was a lot of hassle. But now everything seems to be working nicely.

Constant crashes with update Used to work quite well until a couple days ago. App kept crashing as soon as I opened it. Can't access anything. Seems OK on android so far but epic fail on iPad.

Lack of many points . Lack of many important points like no option for print a page or save as pdf. No option of sharing. Poor cursur dragging . can't select easily . Can not add notebook offline . Can not lock notebooks. Poor audio quality. I'm using bacause of Microsoft otherwise evernote is more good.

Crashes on S5 I've been using One note for years and loved it...past month I can't access anything. Opens to recent notes but crashes immediately. Works fine on Tab 3 and Macbook but I need the compact mobility of S5. What has happened to app?.

Suddenly slow Love this app (had it for four years now) but for some reason it is insanely slow as of late and I can't cut and paste today?? Weird glitches. Maybe too much traffic from the people leaving Evernote in droves?

Issues again You try to edit a line and words or the whole line is deleted; you select a whole line and press Caps and it's deleted. Also, the selection 'expansion ends' do not always appear so you cannot expand the selection. You cannot paste in an empty line. Editing notes is really testing my patience. I'm frustrated. Updates seem to break rather than improve the app.

Bricked This app won't work on the A10.1 tablet with S pen (SMP580). It won't let you sign in to any Microsoft accounts (I've tried several that aren't my own as well). Absolute waste of time

WORST FORMATTING & blindly put formatting button 🔲 underneath keyboard, so UNUSABLE Deserve 5 star but ...FORMATTING is PATHETIC. I do not believe OneNote is from MS! How is it possible to format on 5" phone 📱. Please do it yourself & then tell me. Engineers are blind, it seems. Formatting button gets hidden underneath keyboard when you select some text. Options in Formatting is limited and cumbersome to use. I'm being forced to use Evernote app. I'm really disappointed with you engineers.

no copy&paste? Although it is a MS product, it should fit into the Android ecosystem. It works well as a reader for notes, which had been created on the desktop app, but it fails at capturing notes on Android. Support for copy&paste is the most essential missing basic feature, but not the only one...

Needs work App most definitely needs work. When selecting note text within the app it seems to bug out and stop. It will only let you select any text on the screen and scroll a very small amount before just stopping. And trying to drag the selection sliders reselects different text. Very unintuitive/basically broken. Makes text selection & copy/paste usage almost useless. S7 Edge... Android 6.0.1

Mobile version needs editable embedded office docs You have fixed a lot of glitches which is great but I still can't edit my word or excel documents saved in onenote. Files are read only. I can edit them directly on my desktop version but not on mobile version. Please fix this!!!

Won't work for me Every time I try to b log in, it gives me an error message and tells me to try again later. I'd really like this resolved as I use this program where I work and it would be very beneficial to me to have this at my finger tips.

Still no folder sync? The fact folders can't be synced is embarrassing. I sync folders on my desktop and notebook. But folders can't be synced here? Embarrassing. This should never have been released without folder sync.

Typing & Editing is too buggy My primary use is for typed notes. But their custom editor is pretty awful, including: spell check is not working, word replacement is buggy, initial caps is non-functional, scrolling is cumbersome, formatting tools are buried in favor of tools I never use, selection tools are not easy to use. I wish they would use the standard Android keyboard tools - I have abandoned OneNote for simpler less buggy note taking apps...

Great app, bar the frequent crashes On my S7, it crashes on notes with simple bulleted lists about once every 10 minutes. I find myself constantly updating in the hope the latest is more stable, but nope. Needs more bug fixing love.

No 'select all' function I would love this app if it just had this one added function. It makes absolutely no sense that you can't simply select all of a note. What possible reason is there for not including this essential function? I love OneNote as a tool, but it's useless to me in this app since even the ability to drag the selection bar is buggy and keeps unselecting itself if you try to select more than what is immediately visible on your screen. Please fix this one thing.

With the recent upgrade, we have changed the core code base of OneNote to address the sync issues, few of you had reported. Since the core has changed we require you to sync your notes again. Please note that, you will not be required to sync all your notes again with future updates of the app.

Good but no evernote I'm using One note purely became Evernote changed it use policy. It is Good, but I preferred using tags. For those others like me there is a handy swopping tool on-line.

Awesome with the pen I love the ink option in this app. It's fast and works great on my Galaxy Note 5. Text entry is a pain though with some serious lag.

Whenever I scroll through my notes, the page keeps moving left to right instead of a fixed note position. The UI & widget icons looks subpar compared to iOS version. On iOS, whenever I close Onenote completely & open it again, it will always bring me to my last viewed page while Android always go to recent notes page which is stupid as I have to swipe from left twice to open my notebook to view other notes. On iOS, the sections can be viewed from the top so I don't have to go back and swipe left twice to bring out a separate section menu that covers half the screen. With big screen getting so popular now, at least allow users to Pin sections menu to Left or Top like iOS or Gnotes app.

Unbelievably Slow One note is not bad on my PC and I really like the concept of easily syncing notes between devices. However, the Android version is awful to use. Even running on a Samsung S7 onenote is painfully laggy even with just a few small pages of notes. Cursor locks up as you type and scrolling is sticky. Copying text from a longer message that involves scrolling is almost impossible. Can't imagine how MS managed to make a relatively simple app perform so badly!

Not bad but major drawbacks For me the biggest issue is with syncing. No matter how long I wait, changes made on PC OneNote 2016 don't appear in the app. Perhaps it's because the notebook size is too large. I'll I can see is the little blue sync arrow saying it's syncing but it never goes away. If I uninstall then reinstall the app I can redownload my notebook from scratch... But obviously that's not worth doing everytime I want to update my notebook, and it's at the expense of losing whatever unsynced work I do on the app itself.

Frustrating I have previously given this app 5 stars bacause I LOVED it, and I still would really like to use it! But within the past 3-4 days I keep getting this "Conflicts! Server version shown" bubble almost every time I try to edit a note, and when I get on my laptop and look there, it tells me to go on OneNote online to fix the problems, yet when I do, I see no discrepancies, so I can't find the "conflict" to fix. I'm frustrated and going back to google docs tbh.
