Today, MINICT and RISA hosted a Ministerial High level ICT cluster review meeting for the midterm review of the Smart Rwanda Master Plan. The Plan is a 5-year government digitization roadmap.

Kenya's coastal position gives them an advantage of lower connectivity costs given their direct access to undersea cables. Our operators incur additional transportation costs to provide connectivity services. Current FTTH costs go as low as $56 per month.

The SRMP’s purposes include the availing of all government services online, digitization of all government financial transactions, contribution of 10% to GDP and creation of 100,000 jobs supported by technology and innovation.
