Even with polyfill web component libraries are clocking in quite a bit lower than traditional frameworks on size. Also that polyfill can go to a small % of your users that actually need it. The future is pretty cool actually

With Edge implementing Custom Elements, #WebComponents are going to take over the world in 2019! No more reasons not to use great tools such as @stenciljs or LitElement to build your applications!

My god. Migrant Children in Search of Justice: A 2-Year-Old’s Day in Immigration Court. And "the Department of Homeland Security lawyer, who did not look over from the government’s table," as a two year old faced an immigration judge. nyti.ms/2OKPkGW

Reporters ask my opinion on why Madison is doing *so well* relative to the rest of the state (and world!), and it’s always an opportunity to talk about how @ScottWalker’s attack on Madison is such a tragic act of self-destruction

Have you been thinking about ways to remove carbon from the atmosphere? YC is looking to fund ideas. (There's still time to apply for the January batch: ycombinator.com/apply/) twitter.com/gustaf/status/…

IPCC press conference is over.
It's me again.
Folks, if the world takes this announcement seriously, it would become quite simply one of the most important moments in human history. If the world doesn't take it seriously -- our civilization itself is at stake. Stark, but true.

Heroic efforts are now necessary to save the world from catastrophic climate change.
Be a hero.

We’re getting a lot of inbound enterprise demand for it. Seems like a strong commercial opportunity for us. Open to partnering possibly though...

More precisely: ARMv8.3 adds a new float-to-int instruction with errors and out-of-range values handled the way that JavaScript wants. The previous insns to get JavaScript's semantics were much slower. JavaScript's numbers are double by default so it needs this conversion a lot.
