The so-called “mayor “ of occupied Jerusalem wants to expell UNRWA schools & other institutions from Jerusalem claiming they’re operating illegally! In reality it’s Israel that’s in Jerusalem illegally. UNRWA was operating in Jerusalem years before it was occupied in 1967.

146 congressmen/women sent a letter to Pompeo asking the Admin. to rescind its decision to defund UNRWA, Pal. Jerusalem hospitals, & Palestinian organisations. This is tantamount to a declaration of independence from the extremist hysterical right wing Israel lobby! Courage!

Today in a meeting with 36 international diplomats we discussed the latest political developments, Palestinian moves at the UN, Israeli escalations, the US administration’s assault on Palestine & peace, and internal issues including reconciliation. It was fruitful and important.
