Today was my first meeting with and on how , and can work together. Lots of goodwill, strong shared values, and big ambition. I'm sure we can do great things together.

Yeah, it's tough to legally cover your bases and also communicate clearly to humans. Clearly we could have done better.

The data isn't even moving to SmugMug servers. This is legalese for the fact that we (Flickr+SmugMug) can access customer data, and Oath can't after that date. That's really all it is. Flickr is staying, and getting more awesome.

First weekend "on the job" w/. Learning tons, lots more to come. Customer feedback so far: 1. Fix login. (Knew this, but urgency amp'd) 2. Better email delivery. (Sorry about that) 3. Keep free accounts. (Done! Always in the plan) Keep it coming, always learning.

Even now Flickr's still a household name. But how much do you know ? My take on this one-of-a-kind Silicon Valley business from 2007...

For more than 15 years, our customers - photographers - have been the center of our universe. That's not going to change. Just the size of the universe. :)

The IP address referred is a typical local IP address, but the same on most local networks (not just yours). In short, it really could be coming from anywhere. It just means someone likely clicked a link from a local resource on their own network, or it was spoofed in some way.

The "referrer" would be where the hits are coming from originally. That address wouldn't be yours, only the source. It could be a VPN service or some other form of masking. I suspect it would be super hard to find the right source of those searches sadly.

Maybe I can answer! We experienced an issue with some of the numbers processing last week, and are catching up now. We didn't lose any stats, they are just delayed. Is that what you are asking about?
