Indeed you are right. Trump won under our system. I don’t challenge that. I want to change the system for the future, regardless of which party benefits. Recall in 2004 the Democrats almost won the WH in the Electoral College despite Bush winning the pop vote by 3 million votes.

I disagree. Under the EC it’s large, politically close states the benefit, such as my own PA, FL, MI, WI, etc. The Presidential general election is pretty much limited to 10 states at max. Under popular vote, you would see candidates campaign everywhere - ND, SD, CA, Alabama, etc twitter.com/thinktankphill…

As I’ve been saying since 2000, the Electoral College will be finally eliminated once the GOP wins the popular vote but loses in the Electoral College (as almost happened in 2004).
